OAKLAND KAJUKENBO KWOON
MIND | BODY | SPIRIT
The event is open to all Oakland Kajukenbo Kwoon students and their families. We will be gathering at the Madrone Picnic Area and bowing in at noon. There will be a short training for everyone-students and their family and friends. Then Chief Instructor Lynn Keslar will help the whole training community lay a solid ground for a summer full of learning and growth and give instructions on how to begin making an eskrima stick for your own practice.
We will eat together from about 1pm until we close the party at 5pm. There is a public pool so bring swim trunks. There is also a playing field so also bring balls and other games that everyone can enjoy.
Students participating in Summer Section 2 - Eskrima from July 10 - 19, 2018 are strongly encouraged to come and make sticks they can break in this summer.
