We are ramping up for our annual fundraiser, the Punch and Kick-A-Thon. Youth Program students are pounding the pavement telling people what training at Oakland Kajukenbo Kwoon means to them and asking for donations. Teen and Adult students are preparing to lead thousands of punches and kicks as well as face painting, holding boards for breaking and creating the obstacle course.
We are currently at 8% of our total goal of $10,000. What can you do?
Get creative! Do a demonstration somewhere in your neighborhood with a group from your training community and collect donations.
Send out letters, texts and emails (or other platforms) about how important your Kajukenbo training is to you and request donations.
Make a poster with photos and drawings about Kajukenbo training and bring it to school to inspire support from friends, teachers and school staff.
Make your own fundraising page on social media and blast it out to your fans!
Information about our school and the ability to click and donate is on our website. You can also just direct interested people there.
